After graduating from RISD in 2006, Carla Morales established a design/sewing/screenprinting studio and started the fashion label Carrotcake. As Carrotcake, Carla has created a world of kitschy graphics, prints and patterns, playful accessories and apparel—all inspired by her love of knick-knacks, dolls, desserts, and all things quirky, clever and cute.
In addition to working as a freelance graphic designer, Carla sells her products online and in select boutiques. The Fancypack® has been featured in Cincinnati Magazine and was advertised in BUST Magazine. It also appeared in a Rachael Ray webisode, Behind the Scenes with Rachael’s Makeup Artist.
Carla lives with her free-roaming bunny Paris, and is a member of the House Rabbit Society.
